What changes when the subject is a working actor? Less than people expect. An established performer books the same way a new actor does – on whether the image reads true. What changes is pace and privacy. Working actors often arrive between jobs with a narrow window, so the session has to be efficient, closed, and produce a usable range quickly.

Discretion is part of the work

Sessions are private. Nothing is posted, shared, or submitted anywhere without explicit written permission, and a great deal of the work photographed at this studio has never appeared publicly and never will. If you would prefer your images stay off this site entirely, that is the default rather than a special request.

Editorial and theatrical in a single visit

Alongside standard actor headshots, we shoot editorial frames for press, festival materials, program bios, and publicity. Editorial work uses more dramatic lighting and wider crops than a casting submission, so it is common to cover both in one visit – a clean theatrical set for film and television, and a looser editorial set for press.
