Welcome to Headshots LA! I’m Joshua Michael Shelton, the owner and sole photographer. For over 15 years, I’ve had the pleasure of capturing the essence of individuals across Los Angeles. When I first started, headshots were still in black and white, and the dawn of digital photography was just beginning. I was immediately captivated by the ability to instantly see and create images, embracing the digital revolution from the start.

My passion lies in working with people, inspiring them, and helping them shine. It’s a true honor to assist in creating their marketing materials and witness their careers flourish.

Lighting is my obsession, and I have been fortunate to study under top industry professionals for over a decade. My mentors have imparted a wealth of knowledge and cherished experiences, which I bring to every photo I take. Two pieces of advice I have for everyone. Find a great mentor and have a great headshot.
