Step 2 – Prepare for Your Session

Once your session is booked, you’ll receive a detailed Headshot Preparation Checklist. This guide walks you through each step and helps you look your best on camera.

Every package includes:

• Print- and web-optimized retouched images (5×7 and 8×10 crops)
• Lifetime access to an online gallery of high-resolution images, delivered within 24 hours
• A specific number of professionally retouched photos based on your selection
• Personalized headshot coaching during the shoot

What is a “headshot look”?

A headshot look consists of one outfit and one background of your choice. During that look, we typically capture 300+ images, from which you’ll select your favorite photo for professional retouching.
You’ll receive a lifetime online gallery of high-resolution images with full usage rights.

How long does it take to shoot one look?

On average, one look takes about 30 minutes, give or take a few minutes depending on pacing and comfort in front of the camera.

What if I need to reschedule?

Rescheduling is easy. You can reschedule online or simply contact me directly, and I’ll take care of it.

What if I want additional retouching?

Additional retouching can be purchased at any time, either during or after your session.

How many looks do you recommend for someone new?

I recommend at least three looks for first-time clients. This allows time for coaching, helps you get comfortable on camera, and gives you the opportunity to learn how to maximize your performance and expression throughout the session.
