A theatrical headshot I snapped last week.  Love his intensity.  Also, the blue shirt is dark so it doesn’t distract from him and it also  pops his eye color.  Simple and basic, is the best way to get a great headshot that makes you stand out.

The best theatrical headshots are when an actor taps into his or her inner emotions and conveys that through extreme expressions in the photos.  I love it when new comer’s do their first photo shoot or headshot and they realize how hard it is to express what they feel inside.  I give quite a bite of respect to actors, models, or performers of any kind.  It takes a lot to be good at what they do…
